Support life-saving research to end breast cancer

This year alone, 2.4 million people will be diagnosed with breast cancer. In the United States, that figure will surpass 250,000 – enough people to fill Fenway Park nearly seven times!

Despite remarkable advances in prevention, detection, and treatment, breast cancer continues to be one of the leading causes of cancer deaths for women in the United States.

Decades of research have only scratched the surface of deciphering how breast cancer affects a patient. We still don't know enough about the genetics of different types of tumors, or how to accurately assess breast cancer risk to help women make smart choices about what treatment is worth pursuing. We won't know the answers to these questions without more in-depth research.

These potential discoveries, made possible in part by the work done at hospitals like Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, have the potential to save millions of lives. But this will only happen if we keep supporting doctors and researchers whose hours in the lab and with patients can turn ideas into treatments.

Add your name to support scientists and doctors working to end breast cancer deaths once and for all.
