Support Non-Medical Programs for People Living with Dementia

Although the options are limited, medical treatment for Dementia is undoubtedly important. But did you know non-medical programs — like music, movement, and art — can be useful therapies for people living with Dementia?

Studies have shown these alternative therapies are incredibly beneficial to people living with Dementia: music can shift mood, reduce stress and agitation, stimulate the brain, and increase motor movement. Many of us associate music with important events, and even in the later stages of Dementia this remains true.

And more importantly: it's a way for people living with Dementia to connect and enjoy time with their loved ones.

Together we can raise awareness for these crucial programs. Add your name and support non-medical programs for people living with Dementia!
