TV Producers, Netflix, Movie Makers: Please Stop Using Real Fur, Leather and Suede in Costumes, Props and Sets!!!!

Hello đź‘‹,
I, for one, like most people, love a good movie. I love watching movies in the evening, with popcorn and treats. Movies, TV and Netflix are all incredibly important in the entertainment industry, and most of us really enjoy movies, TV and Netflix.
However, despite the blatant facts of animal cruelty and many celebrities and many, many other people being very opposed to these violent practices, some movies, TV shows and Netflix programmes still use real fur in sets, costumes and props.
"Game of Thrones" came under fire, with another petition being set up asking that the makers to stop using real fur in costumes. I also have my suspicions about the movie "Cats", as well as "The Crown"...
Animals on fur farms are treated in despicably cruel manners. They are kept and bred in cruel conditions in cages, and may only experience a few months of the misery that they only know of "life", before being cruelly and violently killed by lethal injection, neck-breaking, strangulation, beating, electrocution and gassing. All so that some actors can wear their skins and make a profit in a movie, TV show or Netflix programme.
Animals trapped in the wild are caught using horrible steel-jaw, leg-hold traps and snares, which can cause injuries, suffering and distress. The trappers are supposed to check them regularly, but not all of them do and even if the traps are checked as legally required, the animals may suffer for hours or even days before the trapper comes and kills them by beating and/or strangulation (they don't want to ruin their skins by shooting).
The pelts are then sold and the trappers and fur farmers make blood money at the animals' expense. All so that filmmakers, TV makers and Netflix makers can use and wear their skins on shows and movies and make profit.
Leather and suede are also the products of cruelty, with cattle, lambs and even dogs being slaughtered and skinned whilst still alive and fully conscious in order to make our beloved leather sofas, shoes, wallets, purses, handbags, decor, books and other items. The leather and suede, some of which may even come from dogs brutally killed in Asia, are also used in movies, TV and Netflix.
Disney are a beloved company that has produced many lovely films and programmes that have touched the hearts and enriched the childhoods of millions/billions of people. You would also think that they would be an animal-loving company, considering how many of their movies and programmes are about animals and teach animal-friendly messages, and considering that old Walt himself was a dog lover... Please act on this appreciation of animals by going 100% faux!!!!
We, the Undersigned, express kindly that we do not want to see movies, TV or Netflix use real fur, leather suede and other animal skins, and demand that you always use genuinely cruelty-free faux alternatives. We will keep on at you until you switch to 100% faux!!!
May you, all the animals, all the signers, sharers, viewers, readers and receivers of this petition, and all other sentient beings everywhere be perfectly well, healthy, happy and safe forever ♾.
Best Wishes to all,
Rory.
Have the best day and night ever!
