Tell Expedia to Stop Selling and Promoting Cruel Dolphin Shows

For a dolphin, a life spent entertaining tourists is no life at all. These sociable, intelligent animals are imprisoned — they aren't given a life, but a life sentence.

The multibillion-dollar dolphin entertainment industry is extreme animal cruelty masquerading as innocent family fun, with unsuspecting tourists fuelling this sinister industry.

But held in small, barren, artificial tanks, dolphins:
  • are exposed to infection and chemicals;
  • are deprived of food so trainers can force them to perform;
  • can only swim a few metres at a time;
  • are forced to breed in captivity and are separated from their young early;

Dolphin venues claim captive breeding is good for conservation, but in reality, this is only to produce more animals to be exploited in the entertainment industry.

To end this cycle of cruelty, we have to strike at the one thing these businesses care about: their profits. If we can persuade Expedia Group and other travel giants to stop promoting any kind of dolphin entertainment, we can stop a significant source of ticket sales to inhumane dolphin entertainment.
