That is why we're challenging the Prime Minister, David Cameron to make sure the world's poorest children get the essential healthcare they need to survive. Just making new vaccines available could save 1 million lives a year.
In June 2011, the UK government is hosting a crucial vaccines summit. World leaders and decision makers will come together to decide how to get vaccines to the world's poorest and most forgotten children. We need the Prime Minister to be there and use his global influence to make sure that vaccines reach the poorest children and are as cheap as possible.

In poor countries, millions of children are dying from preventable illnesses, like diarrhoea and pneumonia.
As a father, you'll know how important vaccines are, but the jabs we take for granted aren't available to 1 in 5 children worldwide.
This June, you can ensure millions more children get life-saving vaccinations, when your government hosts the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunisation Summit. As a supporter of Save the Children, I call on you to:
* Speak at the meeting and urge action to save children's lives.
* Use your influence with other leaders to ensure they commit to their fair share of vaccines funding.
