Tell George Osborne: No More Cuts to the Safety Net!

  • by: Shelter

A sudden illness or losing your job shouldn't mean losing your home. The government should help ordinary families keep their home while they get back on their feet. But recent changes have put many of us at greater risk of spiralling into homelessness if we lose our job or get ill.

Tell George Osborne MP, Chancellor of the Exchequer, to:
- Stop any further cuts to the housing safety net
- Make sure there is enough help so families don't lose their homes while they're getting back on their feet
- Fix the root causes of our housing crisis by building more affordable homes.

People who've hit hard times through no fault of their own deserve to know there will be some decent help to stop the worst happening.
