Support Innovative Efforts to End Poverty

Oct. 17 is the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty. This symbolic day can have a new meaning for all of us this year as we pledge to do what we can to end poverty forever.

Opportunity International is an organization that is dedicated to eradicating global poverty through access to innovative financial tools and services. Through loans, savings, and other financial products, we are empowering over two million clients in more than 20 developing countries to work their way out of extreme poverty.

One major emphasis of Opportunity's work is a commitment to empower women, who make up 84% of our clients. When women receive loans to fund businesses, they contribute to family finances and have greater decision-making power. The results are that families are well fed, children go to school, and communities thrive.
