Demand that Ministry of Natural Resources and Foresty Allow Appeal process for Ontario Wildlife Rehab Centres!

There is growing tension between wildlife rehab centres and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, an increasing number of Ontario's wildlife rehab centres have closed because they can't work with what they believe are increasingly unrealistic requests from the government. Currently, only activities such as the commercial fishing and zoo-keeping category are able to appeal decisions made by the MNRF. There are growing concerns in the community that non-commercial wildlife is being unfairly treated. There is growing concern that these non-commercial animals needing assistance or that can even be used to assist in commonly practiced training procedures are often just ordered by the MNRF to be euthanized without question. Please sign this petition in hopes these helpless creatures can be truly rehabilitated and protected when in need.
