We love what we do. But we can't help but bring it home. However we are the ones who have have a degree...without having one 😑

we love our job. Our career. However with our 2100 hours of prep...in some states or less...we are not prepared for the given circumstances. We are prepared for color schemes and degrees and angles of a haircut and chemistry of color. We are certainly trained for the random circumstances. However, besides the chemistry and geometry we have a duty...with customer service. Customer service is the smallest definition I am comfortable using. From the loyals to the "scaredy cats". Bc of no trust...i want to change this business. I want to change the "I can'ts, to the "Why not's?" Let's get this company back to how it used to be and pay for continuing education and make it seem high quality. Not going to lie. Cost cutters...seems poor. It doesn't seem like a 5 star salon any more. I feel like it is....but society doesn't. The commercials used say that you get a perfect cut every time because we listen and care. That is 100% true...to me. However when I was first an employee I was told to cut that down to 1/2 And get them in and out as fast as I could straight out of school. I've been employeed for almost 4 years in April...i have gotten quicker but I have more people coming back to me at "cost cutters" bc I care and take my time and listen. Verses great clips. I'm sure they are an amazing company to work for. I need money. And so do you. Let's raise our prices just by 1 dollar so we can get continuing education to your valued employees and I would like to see maybe incentive for a raise without commission. I truly believe your company would make more money if the employees had something harder to work for. I paid 22k to have the same pay scale I did when I was 17. I'm almost 30. Not many people understand to the depth of what we know as cosmologists. I believe we deserve more than minimum wage. For instances...we probably know more than the brother of the ex wife's cousins boyfriends life than you would ever know. And we still know how to answer to it and sleep at night...well...most of us. Sorry for the long rant. End of story we still have to have the tools to ensure ours guests enjoy the experience.

We love our job. But at the same time...its harder than hell. And yet we still manage to make ppl feel beautiful. Even though we don't our own selves  most days. It comes with the territory. I feel like we are battling with franchises that make more money than we do. As a valued employee that does what I am supposed to do daily, when we are slow...why do we make less than a worker at mcdonalds? Many of your employees go into this business and do not make it due to the emotional responsibility it entails. Regis corporation is one of the biggest and best companies to start and finish with. I believe the standards should be set higher if you want to get higher sales in the Midwest. 7.25 is almost making me cry for what I paid for as a mother of 2 nd for what I bring home emotionally on a daily basis. Can you either lower our cost of school or raise our wage? I don't think ppl realize the amount of emotional and physical ability we have to endure on a daily basis during our shift. Thank you for your time. I've been with you for 4 years and have considered going else where when we are slow. Regis makes it's very hard to make commission.im just speaking on behalf of the many employees you have below management. Please hear us out. Thanks again for your time. I believe if you raise the wages...you will bring higher quality workers...and higher paying demographics. If you would like to speak to me personally my number is 563-271-6920
