Kansas Humain Society needs to STOP THE FIX AND RELEASE of cats in areas where it is practiced. UNKNOWINGLY people are led to believe that cats that are brought to humain societies are found homes for instead of taking to the POUND where they are euthaniz

I have seen black cats in our area of the city. I have taken in one that, when showed, he had had liquid poured on him and it had been lit. It took 2 yrs on hands and knees to get trust and feed him. Hearing his screams as he would roll on his hairless burned back. I am happy to say, HARRY is doing well in our care and a vet hospital. He has hair and is so loving he snuggles under my chin pushing to get closer. My suggestion is to give weekly news reports on cats for adoption and make adoption fees at least affordable enough but not so low where someone wants to love a cat it's affordable but not low enough where the EVIL intended people won't purchase. If it gets to long then give people the opportunity to come hold, sing and love a pet that must be put to sleep softly not suffocation by the cat knowing it cannot breath. This I believe people would understand by numbers so high a better way of passing than to be sent out in storms, winter a suffer an awful death.
