One of the Most Vile Pig Factories in the UK Was Shut Down, But More Factory Farmed Animals Need Our Help

Flat House Farm, one of the largest, cruelest pig factory farms in the United Kingdom has finally shut down!

The company has been under pressure ever since a damning investigation by animal rights organization Viva! Video clips from Viva!'s investigation are truly nightmarish. The footage depicts feral cats eating pigs alive, emaciated pigs living in horrific conditions, and rotting corpses literally sprawled on the floor of the factory.

The closure of Flat House Farm is an amazing victory for factory farmed animals and animal rights activists. But sadly, it came only after countless piggies endured horrible suffering.

We must keep this energy up to push the United Kingdom to fully enforce animal welfare laws! Sign now to tell UK regulators: there must be better enforcement of animal welfare laws. They must ensure no other farms can get away with what Flat House Farm did for so long!

The closing of Flat House Farm is a victory for animals and their human allies. And we must use this victory to encourage the United Kingdom's Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs to step up its regulatory enforcement and ensure no other factory farms ever commit the atrocities against innocent animals that Flat House Farm did.

Sign to thank the UK government for its enforcement of the Animal Welfare Act of 2006, and demand even faster, stricter enforcement in the future. We must protect factory farmed animals!
