STOP ORANGEVILLE ONTARIO FROM SELLING ANIMALS IN PET STORES, GIVING THEM THE RIGHT TO JUST HELP SHELTERS ADOPT OUT SHELTER ANIMALS

On January 21st, 2018, I entered a Pet Store in Orangeville. As soon as I entered the store the horrible smell hit me like a ton of brick, I knew at that point that this pet store was selling animals. As I approached the back of the store I noticed puppies in small glass cubie holes , dirty, hair all matted, no water… nothing in the cages but these puppies. The sad look in these puppies eyes brought tears in my eyes. I was shocked in finding out that after many Pet Stores having been ban from selling animals such as privately breed puppies and kittens. Puppy and kitten mills are rampant across North America, places where unregulated owners breed animals in deplorable conditions with no medical supervision before charging large sums for animals that are often traumatized and sick. Once leaving the Pet Store in Orangeville I immediately check online reviews for the pet store in Orangeville.... The reviews were just as such, people were ranting and raving about how horrible this pet store is and how the animals being sold out of this pet store were so sick some at which died weeks after purchase. WE NEED TO STOP PET STORES IN ORANGEVILLE FROM SELL THESE ANIMALS! PLEASE VOTE AND LEAVE A COMMENT TO HELP THIS CASE! FREE THESE ANIMALS AND LETS SHUT DOWN THESE PUPPY MILLS!

The manager approached me and asked me if I was looking for a puppy. I said in horrible shock, "You still sell puppies from puppy mills." He looked at me and said, "No, lady, these dogs are just there for display."

I had no words and walked out of the store. As I got in my car I made a promise that I would do everything in my power to stop this pet store from selling puppies *As he is supporting puppy mills* and the horrible conditions these dogs were in was not fair!
