For a united sound, at 1:oo PM, we are asking religious institutions to ring bells or blow shofar for a period of one minute. Sign this petition, and then tell your religious leaders to join in the effort to create unity, symbolically with a ringing of the bells, and then in actuality.

WOMEN for PEACE:
We, the undersigned, are agroup of women of all denominations who are progressing toward peace. We have spoken with the Islamic Public Affairs Center and are requesting the following from all churches and temples through out Los Angeles:
For a united sound at 1:00 PM daily, we are asking all religious institutions to ring their bells or blow their shofar for a period of one minute.
At 1:00PM daily when the bells ring everyone will have an opportunity to say to at least one person nearby "PEACE BE WITH YOU'.
After greeting one another, you will have an opportunity to say to yourself "PEACE BE WITH ME'
We have chosen the one o'clock hour because that is one of the main times that the Islamic community prays throughout the world. Our goal is to begin in Los Angeles then NYC then WA. DC. Our ultimate goal is the entire USA and then the world. We are requesting that you call a church or temple in your area and help start this minute of harmony across the world.
