The Black Cauldron-Uncut DVD
The aim of this petition is to convince Disney studios to release their 1985 film The Black Cauldron.
"The Black Cauldron", Disney's 25th animated feature and surely its most neglected, deserves a DVD release incorporating all of the footage that was excised at the instigation of Jeffrey Katzenberg in 1985. If the Walt Disney Company truly believes that animation is a viable art, and wishes to respect the multitude of artisans and fans of this amazing flm, we will be given the opportunity to see it as it was originaly devised. Please give others who have not given it a fair chance the opportunity to reevaluate it, and perhaps finally accord it that status of masterpiece that it so deserves.
