Arizona Small Claims courts do not force payments from those who they make judgments against. After you pay fees, have business or individuals served and often have to make several attempts to do so and greater cost; the courts leave it up to the person who received the award to find a way to collect or hire an attorney to go after them. This is not reasonable. Business's should be required to pay within 7 days or face contempt of court. Individuals should have 30 days or at very least and both must sign payment arrangements the day of the awards.
