Keep Mr. O'Hara

It’s the opinion of many parents at the G. Harold Antrim School that the decision by the school board, made on April 24, 2007, to not renew the contract of Principal O'Hara will be a detriment to our children.

PLEASE REVIEW THIS FULL PETITION AND SIGN IT IF YOU AGREE.

IN ADDITION TO SIGNING, PLEASE WRITE A HARD COPY LETTER ADDRESSED TO THE BOARD OF EDUCATION, DETAILING A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE YOU HAVE HAD WITH TOM O'HARA. PLEASE SEND THE LETTER TO JACQUI GLASS.

JACQUI WILL SEE THAT THE LETTERS ARE DELIVERED TO THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OFFICES IN A PACKAGED FORMAT.

THANKS FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT!  PT BEACH RESIDENTS ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!!

Although it may not be the opinion of every parent, but it is the view of many, that Antrim School Principal Tom O'Hara has been an asset to the development of the Antrim School and the children who attend.

Most of us have either stayed in or moved to Point Pleasant Beach for the small town feel, the beach, and of course, the education for our children. It's important for many of us to know in our children’s formidable years that we can rely on a person at the helm who not only cares for our children’s future and education, but is an approachable administrator. A person who has great communication skills and is loved by the students.

Sometimes in government and politics, decisions are made for the wrong reasons and the masses suffer. For whatever reason(s), three board members abstained from voting on the renewal of Mr. O’Hara’s contract. We need to understand why this occurred, what is their opinion?

We need and OUR CHILDREN NEED to take a stand for Mr. O'Hara, a person who truly cares for the future of your children.

PLEASE SIGN THIS PETITION SO WE MAY FIGHT FOR A PERSON WHO NOT ONLY ACCEPTS THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE FUTURE OF YOUR CHILDREN, BUT ALSO EMBRACES IT.
