Call For Beto to Run in 2020

Open Letter to Beto . . . Robert Francis "Beto" O'Rourke:

Carpe diem (make the most of the present time!)

This is YOUR time . . . it might not come again!

Please reflect on Stephen Grellet's (ie: Etienne de Grellet du Mabillier - a Quaker missionary's) quote:

"I shall pass this way but once; any good that I can do or any kindness I can show … Let me not defer nor neglect it, for I (might not) pass this way again.

We the undersigned believe a 20/20 VISION is needed for the 2020 Election!

WHY URGE BETO TO RUN?

He needs to translate the energy from his Texas campaign into future political success. The presidential race is lengthy, early stars can fade, but his window of opportunity "to throw his hat" into the race is also fading right now!

WHAT COMMENTATORS ARE SAYING ….

"Everybody's waiting to see what Beto's going to do"
- Gilberto Hinojosa, Texas Democratic Party Chairman

(He is) capable of raising millions of dollars quickly . . . catapulting him into the upper echelons of the 2020 campaign.
- David Siders, Pilitico

"There has not been this kind of level of electric excitement about a candidate since Barack Obama ran in 2008"

" (many young people are) disillusioned

. . . Beto's unvarnished approach is refreshing to (older people) and intoxicating to the younger generation"
- Mikal Watts, a San Antonio-based lawyer

The Democratic Party likes young, ambitious and aspirational people like . . . Robert Kennedy or a Barack Obama.

(Beto) is a game changer . . . you can't deny the electricity and excitement around the guy.

- Robert Wolf, an investment banker

It was the 'Bernie army' — now it is 'Beto's Army' . . . referring to the fundraising avalanche of small donors who propelled Sanders.

"He is the real deal . . . charismatic . . . thoughtful . . . able"
- Cappy McGarr, a Dallas-based investor

. . . he is charismatic as heck . . .

Democratic voters are looking for newer faces outside the traditional Northeast corridor.

Even in Texas . . . he has a lot of "wow factor", and one could easily say that although he did not win this time . . . (He would carry Texas in a National campaign)!
- Steve Westly, former California state controller
