Help make the American Dream accessible to all!

For many, the American Dream has united us in a sense of common purpose — a belief in possibility, in hard work, and in freedom. For other communities and individuals, we know that this ideal has been out of reach.

At the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream, we believe in the power of the American Dream to shape lives and to drive us constantly toward a better and more just tomorrow, where we all have the opportunity to pursue our unique dreams.

In July 2023, our Visitor Center will open on Pennsylvania Avenue across from the U.S. Treasury and diagonal to the White House. We will be the single, permanent institution in the heart of Washington, DC dedicated to broadening access to opportunity for more people to realize their Dreams.

Through online and in-person exhibits, we will celebrate and learn from stories of everyday Americans who have improved lives through their great ideas, or who have struggled against obstacles to realize their Dreams.

We will recognize where barriers continue to exist that limit opportunity for us to succeed—in education, in financial security, in health, and in innovation.

And we will drive solutions that break down these barriers, and improve chances for people everywhere to pursue their Dreams. We will amplify ideas from people, businesses, and communities that are making a difference, and give these ideas a platform in the center of the nation's capital.

We are building programs that will empower individuals—the underemployed, unrepresented groups—with the tools and resources they need to live their Dreams.

We will work with great businesses to broaden economic opportunity for their employees and communities.

We will help shape the ideas of policymakers and thinkers on opportunity, and on economic and social mobility, and how access to opportunity can be broadened.

We believe that it is not enough to have lived the American Dream, you must make it possible for someone else to live it to keep the Dream real for the next generation. Sign your name to support our work and make the American Dream accessible to all!
