Demand Airbnb change its policy discriminating against Israeli residents with listings over the Green Line

Airbnb, the home rental site, recently decided that they would remove listings of homes of Israeli residents found over the Green Line. It is concerning that such a large and prominent American company decided to follow this path of boycotting Israeli citizens and there is a concern that this may lead other companies to make similarly biased decisions against Israel.
This petition is meant to let Airbnb know that many people find this offensive and that they need to take back this decision.

To: Brian Chesky, Co-Founder, CEO, Head of Community, Airbnb, Inc. brian.chesky@airbnb.com

Dear Mr. Chesky,

We, the undersigned, urge you to reconsider your company's policy towards the Israeli residents with Airbnb listings over the Green Line.

Airbnb's recent decision to "remove listings in Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank that are at the core of the dispute between Israelis and Palestinians" is uniquely critical of Israel.  There are many disputed territories the world over including Moroccan-occupied Western Sahara, Turkish-occupied Northern Cyprus, Armenian-occupied Nagorno-Karabakh and Russian-occupied portions of Ukraine.  In none of these areas has Airbnb decided to remove listings.

Airbnb's decision reflects the positions of those who take a simplistic view of a very complex situation.  Boycotting Israel by kowtowing to those who seek its demise only gives the impression of unfair bias and anti-Semitism. It will do nothing to promote or further peace.

Sincerely,
