Keep government out of pain control. Allow Doctors to treat chronic pain patients humanely and to re

Over 1/5 of the population has a chronic painful disease that are being denied medication that will ease their suffering.  Many medications are available that would allow patients to live with dignity and purpose. Such treatment should not be allowed in this country. Doctors should be educated and pain relief should be available for those that require it. The government has no place in deciding what dose a doctor prescribes. Pain clinics have policies in place for weeding out abusers. Please please do not allow suffering and suicide when the pain becomes unbearable.  The majority of chronic pain patients follow the doctors instructions. Don't penalize all for the actions of criminals. Please please help us. This could be you or a family member one day. See the blog by pharmacist Steve for details and the discrimination faced for being ill.

Please stop the Government and DEA from determining how much pain medication one should need.
