Find Animal Abuser Who Threw Dog Over Animal Shelter Fence!

  • by: Care2 Team
  • recipient: East Ridge Police Department, Tennessee

Last week, a dog was abandoned at East Ridge Animal Services (ERAS) shelter in Tennessee under horrific circumstances.

A surveillance video shows a woman drive the dog to the shelter in a gold van, toss the dog over the fence, and then leave the dog in 13 degree weather for two hours before it was found. ERAS will not post the footage due to its graphic nature.

Please sign this petition urging the East Ridge Police Department to do everything they can to find this woman and charge her with animal cruelty.

In Tennessee, abandoning a domesticated animal in an unreasonable manner is considered animal cruelty. What this woman did — throwing the dog over a fence and then leaving it in freezing temperatures — was absolutely unreasonable.

Thankfully the dog is alive and well, but it still deserves justice for this act of cruelty. Sign now, and let's make sure the woman is found and charged immediately!
