A Fight for Stricter Animal Right Laws and for the “Dreadhead Cowboy” to get the Harshest Punishment for Abusing his Horse

Cowboy Adam Hollingsworth decided to ride his 20 year old horse on the Dan Ryan Expressway (in Chicago) during one of its rush hours slowing down traffic majorly and putting his horse, NuNu, in danger along with himself and everyone else around. NuNu suffered from injuries to her hooves where they were extremely bleeding because of this. NuNu collapsed because of how exhausted and dehydrated she was along with having dilated eyes. Her injuries were so horrible that it was believed at first that she would have had to be euthanized and still might have to be. NuNu was nearly ran to death. The cowboy was protesting "Kids Lives Matter" by riding his horse for 7.5 miles total. Hollingsworth said he would do it again too. Help push the criminal justice system to evoke harsher punishments on Animal Cruelty, so we can get people like this cowboy to serve a harsher punishment so they don't continue to abuse animals. Until punishments get harsher, people will keep abusing animals. The cowboy was charged with a felony count of aggravated cruelty to an animal and was able to bail out of Cook County custody on a $25,000 bond. Please sign this petition to get this cowboy, Adam Hollingsworth, the harshest punishment possible and to bring light to the legal system on how animal right laws need to become stricter and harsher.
