I watched a video of Chris Packham talking about hunting with dogs still going in 2019. This is despite it being banned years ago.
Hunting with dogs can involve an animal, usually a fox 🦊 (in this country), being chased and torn to pieces or having their necks broken by dogs. There is also a risk of the dogs getting hurt, harmed and/or killed either by the hunted animal/s or by vehicles. Also, the hounds apparently are (at least sometimes) shot at just six years old, to be replaced by younger hounds.
This needs to stop. All "sport" hunting of sentient beings with dogs needs to brought to an end. The dogs should then either be kept as companions by the people that care for them and/or used them for hunting, rehomed or just used for drag hunting, and muzzled humanely whenever they are out. Unnecessary violence and cruelty towards hunting dogs, including both hounds and terriers, and horses should also be brought to an end.
Please do whatever you can (ethically) to end hunting with dogs, and to end unnecessary violence towards hunting dogs and horses.
