Federally protect the Feral Pigeon aka the Dove

The Pigeon is mankinds oldest feathered friend, this bird helped save lives before the telegraph or phone was invented, they flew the skies delivering messages from hospital to hospital, they fought next to our troops in many wars including the Iraq war,this bird shares the sky with other birds and currently is being slaughtered accross the USA by the numbers just for the fun of it as they are not protected by any laws.
Please help these birds that deserve honor instead of persecution.
The Dove aka the Pigeon aka the Rock Dove is our nations symbol of PEACE.
Please help force the U.S. goverment to add the Feral Pigeon onto the protected bird list.
These birds have helped Mankind for hundreds of years, now they need your help.
