Justice for Demi leigh

  • by: Melissa McDonald

Demi Leigh was killed outside her home by a dangours drive who should not have been on the road anyway as he had been banned and was untaxed and uninsured!
All he got was community service. This wee girls life was lost and he never had to pay! Causing death by dangours driving carries a maximum sentence of 14 years. However with current guidlines its very hard to prove so it is hardly ever used. Drivers usually get away with a fine or community service at most even if they killl innocent people! This is not enough!!!

We want the law to change so that if a driver kills someone and its their faul they should be disqualifed from driving for ever!
The law should be changed to make it easier to prove causing death by dangourise driving!
The maximum sentence for death by dangerouse driving should be life!
