Make Masterfoods chocolate suitable for vegetarians again!
Masterfoods which make a whole range of chocolate goods, are now starting to use animal rennet in all their chocolate products. Amazingly, they say that this only affects 'extremely strict vegetarians'. Unbelievable.
For the 1st May 2007 Masterfoods have began using animal rennet in their chocolate products again. Any chocolates made by mars, including bounty, mars and milky ways, are now no longer suitable for vegetarians!
Their reasoning for this is 'due to it switching the sourcing of its ingredients', which is a load of rubbish!
It is unbelievable to think that a household names, a brand well known and loved have no just shut off a huge group of people from their market! As if that wasn't bad enough it was said
"If the customer is an extremely strict vegetarian, then we are sorry the products are no longer suitable, but a less strict vegetarian should enjoy our chocolate"
This is an insult to vegetarians! Perhaps he should learn the definition of a vegetarian before he makes such comments!
So sign this if you agree that it was a big mistake to start using animal rennet after all this time!
