Get Ash aging in Pokémon

The Pokémon anime has been going on for 20 years, yet the main character Ash Ketchum have not been showing signs of aging for the whole Seasons, what does this teach kids? Teach them to be young forever? Because you know no one have that privilege since no One Lives forever, at least if they make the character grow older they might understand better on what growing up is and be better prepared, ash has been traveling through multiple different regions which usually takes a year for him to get through in each region, if you understand what I'm talking about, please sign this for the sake of Pokémon and kids
