Demand Criminal Charges for Milwaukee Cops Who Tortured Mentally Ill Man to Death!

Milwaukee cops entered a mentally unstable man's apartment and tazed him 18 times, eventually killing him. Sign on to ask criminal charges to be brough against these killer cops.

In May 2017, two West Milwaukee Police Department officers entered Adam Trammell's apartment after his neighbor called 911, concerned about his well being.

Trammell had been living in an apartment complex designed to house individuals with mental illnesses; he was known to be schizophrenic and his erratic but non-threatening behavior led his neighbor to think he was having a mental break.

Instead of waiting 25 minutes for a key to Trammell's apartment, both officers entered and found him naked, showering. With only a single warning, one of the officers fired his taser, knocking him unconscious. Once he awoke, they resumed tasing him – at least 18 times.

Finally Trammell was taken to a hospital, where he soon died from his injuries.

Media reports say that in addition to being tased 18 times, Trammell experienced a black eye, more than a dozen cuts on his body and a broken rib. All of this was done to "help" him. Graphic bodycam footage of the encounter confirms this.

Recently Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm announced that despite all of this evidence of deliberate torture and murder, no one will be charged with any crime. That is completely unacceptable.

To allow these killers to go free without any consequences is perversion of everything law enforcement and the criminal justice system stand for.

Tell DA Chisholm that Trammell and his family deserve justice by adding your name to this petition as well as circulating it among friends, family and on social media! Together we can make a difference.
