This is a "Demand For a Commutation of Sentence, or a Pardon, for Shawn Michael Jones, who is currently incarcerated in the Missouri Department of Corrections, and has been (so far) for 15 years of a 75-year sentence, at Crossroads Correctional Center, in Cameron."  Under normal, post-conviction circumstances, from Honest convictions, convictions that do not have more violations of a man's Constitutional Rights than a lawyer can throw a book at, then prison would be a typical occurrence after a conviction; BUT, for Shawn Jones, this is  NOT A TYPICAL CONVICTION. You are Probably asking yourself the question, WHY? right about now, and the answer is simple; Because, Shawn Jones is actually INNOCENT. He was wrongfully convicted by Platte County Missouri Prosecuting Attorney Eric Zahned, and by Judge Schafer. The reason I say they wrongfully Convicted him is that because of the corruption within Platte County they allowed this man to have his constitutional rights violated repeatedly at both state and federal levels and because of corrupt officials like them, A MOCKERY IS BEING MADE OF THE UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION AND OF THE MISSOURI STATE CONSTITUTION. 

As citizens of this country we cannot stand for this. Elected officials have used our Justice System to railroad an innocent man, and it has all cost him his life, his family, and freedom; so, he now faces a new reality, all due to: Multiple Repeated Violations of his United States and Missouri Constitutional Rights. We CANNOT ALLOW THIS TO CONTINUE TO HAPPEN IN PLATTE COUNTY MISSOURI. THIS Is NOT the only time this has happened there and many more places across the country. We need Criminal Justice Reform in this country. We need to get the ball rolling by freeing an innocent man, and by stopping this mockery that is being made of our Constitution. Please Join us in our fight.    There are many examples of the unethical use of power by Government officials surrounding this case, investigation, trial, conviction, and even the appeals process, for the case against Shawn Michael Jones of Platte County, Missouri. (Examples Listed hereafter)

Details Surrounding The Case

• New Evidence of Innocense (Lots of Circumstantial Evidence at this point but also a New Witness stating they heard the father of the coerced victim say he had set Shawn up on this whole thing). 
• This had been investigated once and they found no abuse had happened, so the case was closed until Eric Zahnd took over as prosecutor, he had it reopened and had a new detective check it out, then 2 years after it was closed the 1st time and even with lost and so called forensic evidence missing charged him anyway. 
• The adoptive parents of the victim were even seen in the courtroom holding up fingers to tell the victim how many times it supposedly happened when she was on the stand testifying.
• The prosecutor in this case, Eric Zahnd, is under investigation for coercing children in many different cases of sexual abuse, which is exactly what we beleive happened here.

• Mr. Jones rights were repeatedly violated all the way through his appeals process
• Appeals very plainly showed complete proof of Rights Violations
• Proof of error by courts 

     Elected Officials hold more Power than the citizens they are a voice for, so, that power should also come with higher consequences when those officials choose to violate laws, policies, and the trust of the people they serve.   It is believed that making less lenient laws and stricter policies for elected officials would, in turn, decrease Wrongful Convictions being imposed on innocent American Citizens. 

    Please Consider All the Options  for Criminal Justice Reform. AND PLEASE, Grant a Commute of Sentence or a Pardon for Shawn Michael Jones' [dob: 06/24/1978], In The State of Missouri, County of Platte, and PLEASE, IMMEDIATELY Release Shawn Jones From Confinement in the Missouri Department of Corrections, in Cameron, MO, and Please Restore All of His Civil Rights." Don't let any more Americans face imprisonment, after being wrongfully convicted.
