Stop CPS/Family Court Abuse

Dear Governor Brewer, Arizona Bar Association, & Legislators, 

There are a lot of families that have been hurt by the Department of Ecomonic Security/Child Protective Services. Georgia Senator Nancy Schaffer knew the whole U.S. system was problematic and was outspoken about it prior to her death.

We are hoping that you will begin the process of change to the system in Arizona. Prosecutors and Family Court workers should NOT be IMMUNE from discipline for acting out of spite to cause the separation of a family or withholding information that could prevent a family from losing their children or acting in such a way to prevent an innocent person from going to prison, such as scaring them into a plea bargain over trumped up charges. Lawyers and CPS workers that act in an unprofessional manner should pay for their actions if someone is adversely affected, just like anyone else in the general public, or anyone else that has a position of power.

We are asking in particular, that S. Marie Gates (Guardian Ad Litem)  be removed from her positions within all family court activities within the State Of Arizona and barred from taking any future positions in regards to the care and concern of children in any position. We are also asking that CPS Caseworker Rosanna M. Mendoza be removed from her position in regards to the care and concern of children in any position. Each individual named herein has flaunted the laws, allowed false reports to stand, abused the color of law and completely disregarded constitutional rights. They have created permanent damage to many families, time and time again.
