FREE James Joshua Carncross NOW

     James Joshua Carncross is doing 7 years in State Prison for aggravated criminally negligent homicide, after a New York State Trooper drove his Chevy Tahoe into a tree at 100 mph.  The Trooper was speeding to a 911 call, when he decided to chase a motorcycle, driven by Joshua, that pulled out in front of him, instead.  After a 7 mile chase, the motorcycle was long gone.  But the Trooper ignored signs that read 30mph, slow, children at play, to drive 100mph through an intersection and into a tree, and killed himself.  Did he ever really have a chance to catch a motorcycle in a truck?  Most think not!  Because he was chasing the motorcycle, does that make the motorcyclist responsible for the reckless way the Trooper was driving?  Of course not!  Then why was he given two to three times more of a prison sentence than others.  Nobody knows and we can't figure it out, but we know it's not right!  In central New York there were 32 others convicted of vehicular manslaughter.  Most were DWI, some were predicates.  They all killed someone while driving a vehicle, and they all recieved sentences of 1-3, or 2-4 years in jail.  Josh got a straight 7 year sentence, and he wasn't even driving the vehicle that crashed.  DOES THAT MAKE SENSE?  If you don't think so, kindly add your name to this petition, thank you.  He's already been in State Prison for 3 years.  Thats long enough!  We'd like to get him out, so he can be back home with us,  where he belongs.
