Get 106.5 The Zone back on regular FM radio!
WRWK/106.5 "The Zone" has had its regular fm station changed to a sports broadcasting station. Although it still broadcasts in HD and on the web, listeners with regular AM/FM radios can not listen to "The Zone" unless they go online, or buy an HD radio. The station that replaced "The Zone" is a part of WLQR/AM 1470's "The Ticket" sports radio. The replacement was established to solve play-by-play conflicts that WLQR had with its single AM station. To solve this issue, Cumulus Broadcasting could simply use another one of it's "Less Popular" AM stations, or obtain a new frequency for the station. If the goal for signatures is reached, I will see to it that a copy is given to Cumulus Broadcasting to show that "The Zone's" loyal listeners want it back on non-HD airwaves!
