Build a Tacoma Streetcar System
Tacoma Streetcar wants to gauge how much public support is out in the City for streetcars and light rail. We intend to present these signatures to the
Tacoma City Council and
Pierce Transit to let them know just how big a movement this is. Your signature to this petition can send a powerful message to local leaders that we want streetcars and light rail connecting our neighborhoods and business districts throughout the city.

We, the undersigned, support a
public transportation vision in Tacoma, that:
- Includes a practical and convenient network of streetcars, light rail, and buses,
- Encourages livable communities, where car ownership is optional,
- Catalyzes quality economic development in Tacoma's Mixed Use Centers,
- Links those centers to surrounding neighborhoods and to Downtown, and,
- Is more cost effective to operate per passenger served.
Please take into account our opinions when planning the future of public transportation in Tacoma and Pierce County.
