Tell Our Elected Leaders and Our New President the Time for Tax Reform

The US Taxation System is one of the most bloated bureaucratic systems ever evolved.
Although a "flat tax" that some call for may be a bit too radical, a simplified code would benefit all including the federal government.
If we were to remove all deductions, exemptions, etc., then a single rate tax would allow the IRS to collect the tax directly from employers, this would virtually eliminate the need to file taxes and no real tax filing would be necessary, this would save hundreds of millions of dollars from the IRS budget Just not printing the thousands of copies of the 46,900-page U.S. Tax Code governs the whole process, alone (http://www.irs.gov/taxstats/compliancestats/article/0,,id=131661,00.html)

Simplifying the system so that no individual information is needed to calculate your tax rate, then taxes can be withheld at the employer level without having to fill out a return in April. Think of an April without Tax Day, imagine the gains in productivity that could be made without the filing headache. Imagine the amount of paper and other natural resources that could be saved as well !!

We the undersigned, request that partisan politics be put aside and let us have a true, fair and productive discussion that results in ACTION on our monolithic tax policies.

Every election year we hear about tax reform, and once everyone is comfortably in office, we do not hear anything else.
Dear Mr. or Madame President and honorable Congresspersons, please let this be the term we break the cycle of talk without action !!

We realize this is quite a challenge but believe the American people will stand behind the brave few that start the process.

Please prove us right !!

Thank You for your time and anticipated action.

God Bless America.
