3 FOOT RULE in VERMONT

Add your name to let Vermont's Senators and Representatives know that you support the "3-Foot Rule" stating that a passing motor vehicle must give at least 3-feet of clearance to a bicycle.  I am a Vermont voter and support the Vermont Bicycle & Pedestrian Coalition sponsored "3-Foot Rule" law that: Defines a safe passing distance of at least 3' for a vehicle passing a bicycle; Ensures that vehicles leave room for cyclists when turning right; Allows cyclists to use left and center lanes for turning; Allows bicycles to pass stopped vehicles on the right at their own risk.
