Change RICO Laws--Racketeer Influenced Corrupt Organization

I am seeking a change to the RICO laws across our nation, so that the common person/ citizen may no longer be able to sue anyone for RICO related charges in either Civil or Federal Courts. This is a charge that is of such a nature that only the Federal Government agencies should be allowed to bring charges against anyone using RICO.

This charges includes such violations as: conspiracy (having a common goal with at least one other person), money laundering, adding and abetting (helping any person in your group), wire transfer (text messaging, Im%u2019ing, emailing, and so on), interstate commerce and more.

This is a very serious charge that was intended to be used to help put a stop to MOB owned or operated businesses, that used all or a portion of their business to further their criminal conspiracy.  This was never intended to be used against the common person/ citizen as money making schemes, as it allows for treble the allowances for damage. This is why it is so often used; because three times the damages is a nice return so it is a favorable avenue for vicious litigants.

 Attorneys have found loop holes allowing most anyone to be charged using this method. Your personal guilt or innocence means nothing once you are charged because it is one of the hardest charges to defend yourself against besides murder- You must defend yourself or face a judgment that will be placed on your permanent record.

Hiring an attorney on retainer can start at $50,000.00 if you are lucky. Once charged it is expensive and very difficult to fight. It can also ruin your life as well as the life of your families. If a judgment is handed down against you for RICO, finding legitimate work will be next to impossible, because it can keep you from obtaining government jobs and/ or any Federal Assistance. If convicted of RICO you will be on law enforcements awareness list and be on a list similar to the ones of Al Capone and Bernie Madoff are on. It will always be on your record, so finding work at a medical establishment or financial establishment that will even think to hire you is slim to none!

Being charged alone will stay on your permanent public record/ file for all to see and know. It is my intent that by having the Federal Government Agencies as, the entities who can bring charges of this nature against someone; it may help in slowing the rate of frivolous law suits that are staggering in this country. These law suits cost the tax payer and the innocently charged, untold amounts of monies each year; what better uses could be found for this money? I know of this only because I just spent the last year of my life defending myself against just such a suit. I was innocent and this does not matter, it was expensive and stole a year of my life. I do not want this to happen to anyone else needlessly. I fought and fought hard. Now I am going to fight to change this law so that no other person can be charged with such a bogus charge. If a person is guilty or suspected of such charges then it should be taken to the Feds and they will go from there.
