Demand a Higher Fine For Littering in Florida

We are only now realizing that humans are desensetized to the fact that we are living in our own waste.  Along the side of roads, on medians, even in back and front yards there is an far too much garbage and scrap. The fine for littering is a minor fee of $50 to $100. The average teenager carries more than that in his/her pocket.  By signing, you are sending a letter to the governor of Florida, Charlie Christ, asking him to raise the fine for littering. Or e-mail him yourself at <Charlie.Crist@MyFlorida.com> Please help keep our earth clean!
We, the undersigned, have been very disgusted by the amount of litter in our neighborhoods, parks and roads. The fine for littering if far too reasonable. If keeping clean is too much to ask, then do we let the problem go out of control? We think, and we hope that you will too, that a higher fine for littering and more authority to recognize it too would be better for our state. Littering is simply blown off and ignored so much that is has gotten out of hand. with a higher fine and more attention, our state can be looking beautiful. We all hope you will consider.

Thank you for taking the time to read this letter.
