Enough families have been torn apart by these senseless, catastrophic accidents, that would be mediated by a divide or by twinning this highway.

By signing you are showing your support and asking the Graham government to act now to make this highway safer.
Hello,

Many of us New Brunswickers have been saddened by the senseless accident on Highway 7 this past weekend on Feb 15th, 2009 which destroyed an entire family.  The saddest part is, this was not the only catastrophic accident on this highway and unfortunately won't be the last.  This highway is 97KM long, most of which is single lane eachway, narrow, and with oncoming passing zones (dotted yellow line).   This area is heavily wooded, with extensive wild life.  There is no room for error on this highway, and up till now, most New Brunswickers accepted the danger, or avoided the highway all-together.

The Graham Government has made headlines with it's commitment to improving our New Brunswick highways.  Lets see you put OUR MONEY where YOUR MOUTH IS.  We need a better highway from the East to our Provincial Capital.
The Hon. Minister of Transportation Denis Landry, says, this highway is not a priority.  Meanwhile the citizens of New Brunswick think it should be of the highest priority.  Please twin this highway and put into place an immediate plan to take action before more lives are lost.

Thank you for your support.

Sincerely,
