The Miss LA Galaxy program has existed for over 10 years, and has helped not only create a sense of unity in the community, but has given young women a platform to have a voice in the soccer community.
Soccer has historically been a male-dominated sport; this program was created to bring a female presence to the LA Galaxy. Soccer, or Futbol is the most popular international sport. It ignites passion in individuals, and doesn't need a specific language to bring people together. It means family, perseverance, heart, tenacity, and truly being committed to what you do. 
This program has allowed women to not only support their favorite soccer team, but to do so with the help and influence of one of the best teams in Major League Soccer. 
We're not asking you to sign this to preserve the current program, we're asking you to sign this to help us evolve, and create a better program with the same goals in mind. Our goal is to stay involved with the community, but allowing young women to have a platform to bring their passion for the sport, and bring causes they feel strongly about into the picture as well.
