Don't Segregate Film School Departments!

While the purpose of this petition is broad, the genesis of it is specific to this coming Spring semester. Production students and Writing students are being segregated into separate sections for the highly sought-after and under-provided class of CTWR 520 (Scene Writing). While the writing students have their choices of three sections, the production students are relegated to one section; thereby preventing the students from the two departments to work TOGETHER and learn from students in other disciplines.
Please sign this petition if you believe students from different departments should be able to learn together at USC's School of Cinematic Arts!
To whom it may concern,
Enclosed is a petition from several members of USC's School of Cinematic Arts in response to the segregation of Production and Writing students in the CTWR 520 Sections for Spring 2010. It is also a broader petition against ALL segregation between departments at USC. Students want to learn together and from one another.
Thank you.
The Students of USC
