As a resident of Los Angeles, I am signing this petition urging you to vote in SUPPORT of Yolie Flores Aguilar's Resolution for Public School Choice on August 25. This resolution represents the kind of education reform this district really needs by giving parents and communities a voice in who runs 50 new schools that will open over the next few years. We need to move beyond status quo politics and focus first on the interests of our children. It is time to open the door to innovation and greater opportunities for improvement in our public schools.
