Help Our 42 Lobos

  • by: Deadra U.

In the U.S. there are only 42 Mexican Gray Wolves (lobos) alive in the wild in Arizona and New Mexico.  They are at the point of extinction through past actions of overkilling by humans.  They are the smallest in size of the subspecies of the gray wolf.  It would be a shame to lose this beautiful creature.  Please contact the Dept. of the Interior at (202) 208-3100 and/or email Ken Salazar, Secretary of the Interior about this situation asking him to take action to protect the 42 lobos left.
