John Darcy III as Write-In Candidate for President in '08

As President of the United States of America, I will reunite this country.  I have spelled out my platform below.  If you believe that I would make a better President than McCain or Obama, then please write my name in when you vote on November 4th.

1.  Politicians will be held personally responsible for all debts that they incur.  I don't believe that the American people should have to take on that responsibility.

2.   All government positions will have strict term limits.

3.  The IRS will be abolished and a 10% Fair Tax would be put in place.  So, when you buy something, you will pay 10% tax one time only.  All other taxes will be abolished.  The tax will be used to end the deficit, fix roads, and improve our infrastructure.

4.  Social Security  would be returned to the way it used to be.  If you put money into it, then it is yours.  And, absolutely no one will be able to touch it except you.

5.  Government will be downsized drastically. All programs that have not shown a drastic improvement in American life will be abolished.

6.  The Pledge of Allegiance will be returned to the classrooms.

7.  Criminals that are convicted lawfully by clear and convincing evidence for rape, murder will be put to sleep within 30 days from conviction.  All other convicts will be required to pay for their own stay in prison.  This will free up the people of this great nation from having to pay them having to be there.

8.  Our borders will be fully secured.   All illegal aliens will be deported back to their home countries.  They will then be allowed to enter this country after learning to speak English, and going through a legal process.

9.  Energy will be a priority.  Wind, solar, and nuclear power will be pushed fast and hard to get us off of being dependent on foreign oil.

10.  Iraq would be paid for by the Iraqi surplus.  The American people shouldn't have to pay for the war.  We would get a definite timetable from the Iraqi Prime Minister as to when he believes the Iraqi Army  will be able to sustain itself.  And, the American soldiers  would be brought home soon after that.
