With all the corruptness in politics these days I Kevin Thayer and offering to put my life in the public eye for the chance to bring integrity to politics, and more specifically Lansing, MI. Although I do have many skeletons which will haunt me in my run for governor, I have no political connections. I am running as an independent because I and many others feel the two party system is what has brought this country down. I am a conservative with many views that align with the conservative mind set. However do not call me a Republican, as I can not stand them any more then I can democrats. I consider my self to be a blue collar worker, who wants to take advantage of the way our forefathers set this country up. If the government becomes corrupt or inapt then it is the responsibility of the people to take it back. My goal for Michigan is to reduce Government spending DRASTICALLY, and also reduce governments size, also to create an environment which will encourage manufacturing jobs to return to Michigan, and stay here.
I guarantee we will not see eye to eye on all issues, however if you feel that Michigan deserves better then what we have been getting, and want some one who knows how it feels to rob Peter to pay Paul, then I am your guy.
