BLC Graduates Needs MQA Approval by 2011
Petition to: Prof. Dato' Wira Mohd Shukri bin Abd. Yajid
President of Management & Science University (MSU)
Shah Alam, Selangor.
We, the undersigned, would like to bring your attention to the following problem, with recommendations.
The graduates of Bachelor in Law & Commerce (BLC) are insisting the University to take another step further in obtaining the Malaysian Qualifying Agency (MQA) approval, as it will reflect burden and unfairness to students after graduating.
Delayed and pending approval of the MQA since 2008 has caused difficulty and dilemma to all the graduates. The lack of accreditation has brought a major standstill for graduates in seeking jobs and appointment in the Government agency. Likewise, the delay is preventing the graduates from continuing and furthering their studies to the next level.
It has been an enormous and critical problem since the 2nd batch had graduated and soon the 3rd batch, yet the approval is still pending. The awaiting period is not practical and it has been long overdue for an unreasonable time. Unfortunately, the students were told by the University itself that the course has already being approved by the MQA before the enrollment of the students.
We urge the University to use alternative as to take any step further in acquiring the MQA approval more rapidly, so that the authorization of the degree will be obtained in order to protect the future of the graduates.
We call upon the administration of the University to:
