Tori's Butterfly:The Fight for Lupus

I am the mother of a daughter fighting Lupus. Tori is only 25 yrs. old , that is too young. Yet, Lupus is not an age discriminator. Lupus is a disease like cancer, there is no cure and it kills just the same. Although Lupus is now a more Common illness, more so than Cancer and Aids combined.
We are fighting for Congress to wake up and realize we need funding from them to allow more Lupus Research and more Lupus Awareness Programs, not just for the patients, but for the families and friends also..!
As individuals we are not asking for money, just your signature to show how many of us are affected with this illness, to make them wake up. We ask for help in finding a Cure , help in understanding Lupus, and help in more Support Programs.
This is a nation wide illness that is a silent killer, and it gets NO attention.
We deserve the SAME attention as Cancer and Aids.
We want to live also...PLEASE Sign this petition, its time to wake up!
We The Undersigned are asking for more research from Congress in finding a cure for the DISEASE Lupus/MCTD.
We are the people whom are affected, or we represent the Families, Friends, Co-Workers, etc. of the Person whom has Lupus.
Lupus is a world wide silent killer, just Like Cancer, that you hear so much about.
It is up to us, the FAMILIES to help them find a cure and keep the research alive. In doing that we request your signatures to remind congress how many suffer with this Illness everyday.
