Reverse recent credit card rate increases

Bills passed recently by the House and Senate separately to speed up the dates when credit card companies have to limit their increase is TOO LITTLE, TOO LATE. The House AND Senate AND the President need to pass a law that reverses credit card rate increases made in the past 6 months, to what they were before, especially for people who have not been late with payments.

What the government has done so far, is to give credit card companies time to raise their rates outrageously and to lower credit limts, even for people who have always paid on time. This needs to be REVERSED now.
