Save Broadwood Farm, Dunster
Broadwood Farm, 150 acres of pastures, marshes, streams and hedgerows in the Exmoor National Park, lovingly restored by ecological farming, is threatened in March 2010 by a change of tenancy and management.
This petition calls on the owners, the Crown Estate Commissioners, and their agents to protect the future of the farm. We have just 12 days to save this wonderful part of Exmoor - please help us by signing now.
We, the undersigned, call on the Crown Estate Commissioners and their agents, Smiths Gore, to secure the future of Broadwood Farm, Dunster, Somerset by:
- Protecting the ecology of the whole farm through sustainable farming.
- Maintaining links between farmer, working farm buildings and the land.
- Promoting local food for local people through making part of the farm a Community Supported Agriculture project.
