Save Fayetteville's low cost spay/neuter program

Regarding the June 26th, 2009 review of the low-cost spay/neuter clinic regulations, we the undersigned would like these regulations to be amended to exclude municipal

facilities with vet clinics, for the following reasons:

1. Saves cities money in animal control costs.

2. Gives high volume spay/neuter veterinarians a job.

3. Increases the number of animals vaccinated for rabies.

4. Is a more humane way to control animal population than euthanasia.

5. Studies by the Humane Alliance in North Carolina show that 90% of the clients that come to these clinics would not otherwise go to a veterinarian or get their animals vaccinated.
