Sleep for East Campus

Day in and day out, the construction on Warwick Boulevard is interrupting students' lives. Make that day in and "night out". Many students are required to live on campus; be it Presidential Leadership requirements, financial obligations, time constraints, scholarship rules, or other club/organization responsibilities. How is it that Newport News and CNU can allow such commotion to continue all throughout the night when college students live as close as 50 yards away? We pay to live here (a pretty outrageous amount, actually), we follow the rules set out by CNU, we keep up with requirements for scholarships and organizations, and we have class at eight/nine o'clock in the morning. Yes, we recognize the need for the construction and appreciate the dedication and hard work of the individuals who spend their nights hammering away out there but we deserve a little respect... and some sleep too.

By signing this petition, you are agreeing that there needs to be an appropriate cut-off time for this construction project. This petition, if taken seriously, will benefit students lives; keeping them healthier, happier, and more successful in their college careers.
